Jesse is an actor, writer, and director, born and raised in New York City.
After graduating from Princeton University with a degree in Classics, Jesse attended The New Actors Workshop conservatory in NYC, where he studied with Mike Nichols and George Morrison. He has gone on to work extensively with Michael Howard and Bob Krakower. On film, Jesse got his break in the Marc Lawrence comedy Did You Hear About The Morgans?, in which he co-starred with Hugh Grant, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Elisabeth Moss. Jesse is also a lead on the HBO/Cinemax series The Girl's Guide To Depravity. In the 2014-2015 tour of Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story Onstage, Jesse plays Neil Kellerman. In 2009, Jesse co-directed and co-starred in a bilingual version of Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot, which he performed in France at the Annenberg Theatre Center. He is currently developing Mass Mass Mass: An Oresteia, based on Aeschylus' seminal trilogy, and a one man show, FRANK, that premiered at The Tiny Theatre Festival in 2013. A member of The Old Kent Road Theater Co., Jesse has performed in many productions at The Ontological-Hysteric Theater, The Brick, The Bushwick Starr, Dixon Place, and Joe's Pub.
